Sharing the Stories of the World Through My Lens
Hi, I’m Jocelyn! Freedom Roots Photography grew out of my love for capturing the quiet beauty of nature, the charm of history, and the vastness of landscapes. What started as a hobby has turned into a way to share the places I’ve explored with others.

The Story Behind Freedom Roots
Freedom Roots Photography was born from a deep love of family, nature, and service. As a military brat turned Army spouse and proud mother of three, I’ve learned that life is full of fleeting moments worth holding onto. Photography is how I preserve those moments — with authenticity and heart.
The name reflects the inspiration behind my work: Freedom, honoring the resilience of military life, and Roots, celebrating the grounding strength of family and the beauty found in nature. From golden sunsets over open fields to the quiet details of history and everyday life, my goal is to tell stories that feel timeless and personal.
With a love for natural light and a style that blends elegance with rustic charm, I aim to create images that embody warmth, connection, and heritage. Whether it’s a breathtaking landscape or a small piece of family history, I want each photo to feel as enduring as roots and as limitless as freedom.
